The State Historical Society has a library on the UW-Madison campus and a museum on the Capitol Square. It also operates several historic sites throughout the state including Old World Wisconsin 1.5 miles south of Eagle and about 10 miles from Palmyra. “Old World” features more than 65 historic structures brought from various places in Wisconsin and many costumed guides to show you around. The society also works with scholars and local historical societies including ours to help bring history alive to the people of Wisconsin and others throughout the world.

Band Concerts

One of the first-organized community bands of the area, the Palmyra-Eagle Community Band performs numerous concerts during the year at a variety of locations. A full schedule of their events is posted at their website (below).
